Greetings from the land of smiles! This will be very short... I've traveled in Thailand twice before and really enjoyed the beauty of the north, the culture, history and gorgeous beaches in the south. This time my only focus was enjoying the beaches and eating amazing seafood in Southern Thailand.

It has changed a lot since I was here five years ago. I guess my life has changed a lot in that time too! One of my best friends from high school, Georgia, who is now living in Asia, met me here for a week. It was great to see her. I also met several other interesting travelers and had the opportunity to do some rock climbing and some kayaking. It is such a beautiful place for both!

I'm now very relaxed, slightly sunburned, and really looking forward to heading home in a couple of days to see Chris. Happy holidays to you all! I wish you a fabulous new year celebration and all the best in the year 2000!
